  1. Hi, I am interested in the drawing you have produced. Am I correct in saying this is for the Lochgelly area in Fife Scotland? If it is, is there any chance you can provide further details about the drawing and any project details of what you are proposing, as I think it will be of interest to our readers. Thanks in advance for any feedback

    1. Hello. John Martin, cand. M.Arch., worked from the public regeneration plan by Duany Plater-Zyberk to make an academic proposal to replace the existing arts center. If you are interested, he or I can provide more of this student work proposal. We would both be delighted if this work could be useful to Lochgelly’s efforts. John may even be traveling to Scotland in the near future. Perhaps there would be interest in an exhibit of this project.

      1. Hi, Thanks for replying, I am certainly interested in seeing more of the students proposal, I think it would be a good thing to highlight to the Lochgelly Community. I’ve let the Lochgelly Community Development Forum (lcdf.org.uk) know of this thread and they are interested as well.

If John decides to travel to Scotland, we could set up an exhibition for him, which would probably be held at the business centre in Lochgelly, alternatively, I could put you in touch with someone in Fife Council who deals with the Charrettes, and they could possibly arrange an exhibition or discuss any of the plans further.

If you drop me an email, I can send you further info on the two community groups for Lochgelly, info about the business centre, and the Fife Council contact, etc.

Thanks again for replying and for the extra info.

      2. Very glad for this interest. John and I will contact you soon via email.
